Aksel Svindal – Gold Medal in Men’s Super-G, 2nd medal in a row!
Aksel Svindal is having the last laugh as he wins the gold medal in the men’s Super-G in Winter Olympics 2010 at Vancouver on 19th February 2010. This is his second medal within four days after the silver medal win on 15th February. And Norway surely has more than enough reasons to be proud of Svindal! Official website of Olympics 2010 and several other sources report that Aksel Svindal has won his 1st ever Gold Medal in ski racing on 19th February 2010, Friday. The Norwegian athlete has already won a silver medal on 15th February 2010 following the winner Didier Defago of Switzerland by 0.07secs. And theGold Medal has come within a time of 1:30.34 defeating Miller by 0.28secs. Svindal has surely made few records within a week. With his silver medal win, Norway has got its 100th silver medal at the Winter Olympic Games. Norway is the 1st ever country to have 100 silver medals inWinter Olympics.
